Christmas, an everyday affair…

Filed under: Thoughts from Chuckie — chuckie @ 12:01 am

Christmas is forever, not for just one day, for loving,  sharing, giving, are not to put away like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.  The good you do for others is good you do yourself…

The King of Pop…Sick?

Filed under: Thoughts from Chuckie — chuckie @ 12:47 am

I remember when I was a little kid, I used to put the album “ABC” by the Jackson 5 on my show and tell.  Then I would put to on my APPLE HAT and do the camel walk to “Stop The Love You save” for hours.   Yesterday I heard my main man was sick.showandtell1

Michael Jackson is reportedly ailing from a rare lung condition and needs to undergo a transplant, according to the author of a new biography on the King of Pop.

Author Ian Halperin said Jackson, 50, suffers from Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency, a condition that can be fatal.

“He’s had it for years, but it’s gotten worse,” Halperin said in an interview with In Touch magazine. “He needs a lung transplant but may be too weak to go through with it. He also has emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding, which his doctors have had a lot of trouble stopping.  It’s the bleeding that is the most problematic part.  It could kill him.”

Halperin also said Jackson “can barely speak” and is having trouble seeing: “The vision in his left eye is 95 percent gone.”

Wow passengers perhaps we should send up the prayers tomorrow at our weekly noon-time corporate prayer.

Oh, and not to make light of the situation, but I forgot to mention the broomstick I used as a microphone, as I crooned “Got to be there” in front of my thousands of adoring fans.  Yes, I was a legend even if only in my own mind!

My Perspective on “GENEROSITY & FAITH!”

Filed under: Thoughts from Chuckie — chuckie @ 2:29 am

Hey Passengers, good morning, afternoon or evening whatever the case may be.  Glad you hopped the train no matter the time of day!  Here’s something that popped into my train conductor type mind.  Did you know that generosity could just possibly mean more than just giving.   It could also mean to cooperate with others.   Consider this, the greatest act of generosity could just be to see beyond the weaknesses of others, helping them to recognize their innate value.   Can you imagine how many relationships, including marriages could be saved if we employed that perspective?solitude

And Faith…

When I am continuously being battered by the storms of life, and my very spirit is ebbing away, This is what I try to do.  All I have and all I do is to hang onto that gift called ‘Faith’, that one support helps me to weather the storms.  I clearly and truly know that Faith does not depend on a clever head, only belief: belief in Jesus and the strength that lies within.  Faith is the seed of victory and the foundation of making the impossible possible.

So my friends, be Generous when you can today….and KEEP THE FAITH!
