Hey passengers, Let’s hop a train of a different kind for a minute. Of all the good deeds you could do in life, this just might be one of the best. I’d like to tell you about another train, the SmileTrain (www.SmileTrain.org). Millions of children are suffering with cleft lip and palate. Condemned to a lifetime of pain and suffering.

The good news is virtually all these children can be helped. The Smile Train provides life changing free cleft surgery which takes as little as 45 minutes. This procedure gives children not just a new smile, but a new life.

I am championing this cause because I have a heart for children and these sorts of things. Can you imagine the looks, stares and comments that they endure? I can relate because when I was a child I struggled with childhood obesity until I started playing sports, specifically football. However, until that time I was teased and made fun of. Fortunately, along with the shear physicality of of football, and my love for all things sports, it spurned a growth spurt (Upward instead of sideways). What a story it was. I remember not being able to do one push-up. But over time I was able to do a one arm push-up and progressng to be able to do a one-arm pull-up. Ok, ok, I digress, this is not about me.

Unfortunately these children can’t do anything in and of themselves…so checkout www.smiletrain.org and consider the Children. Tell’em Chuckie sent you.
