As Promised, Running From An Old Fatguy… My Weight Loss Saga
on January 1st, 2007 at 3:33 pmPosted In: Thoughts from Chuckie
Here’s My before picture (to the left), what do you think? Sad thing is, that was not my top weight. I am only posting these pictures (more to come) and telling this story due to some requests from my growing number of friends. I am not bragging, just acknowledging how tough the battle of the buldge can be. …and how much better you feel both physically and mentally once you begin to shed a few.And here’s the “after” shot (on the right,). Better? Still have a ways to go, but I’m taking the challenge, “Chuckie’s Challenge”. Leaving the old fat man behind. The bottom line is that it CAN be done! Keep this in mind as you make those resolutions this year! This is one that you CAN keep if you are determined to do so!

Good Morning
Thanks for the encouragement and motivation to get back into physcial shape. I kind of let myself go after some difficult challenges life threw at but thank GOD I am back up for the 8 count. I have begun my reconditioning with my personnal trainer and joined the Total Body Makeover Training Clinic. Please Pray for me because the women is gooooood but when she whip you back into shape she whip, but it’s okay Vet I need it when I am out preaching GOD’S word. I am on my way into the office and I will pull up our daily “Chuckie” fix and see if we can start and work out support group for each other.
Thanks for the encouragement. After a nasty ACL tear and ending up with two beautiful screws in my left knee; I needed that encouragement. God Bless

My, My, My! Looking good Chuckie. Congrats on your journey towards fitness. I’m joining your challenge as I’m taking a very special trip soon and need to lose some weight and get some much needed energy. Now you asked what did we think about that first picture and you know I’m gonna tell ya! You look gorgeous. That smile is still evident on your after picture too. It’s the look of a man who love the Lord. You’re gonna keep that look no matter how much weight you lose. That being said, you know you got an old woman studddddeerrrrrring over here at the after picture. If my Mista wasn’t standing over my shoulder reading this, I would tell you what I really think.. lol Keep up the great work and hopefully at the end of 2007, I will be able to have a before and after picture too. Thanks for the challenge and the encouragement.
