This sounds like my knid of love…I love you and want you even when things get tough…it is better then not having you at all. Wow, I want some of that…Praise God for His sacrificial love towards us! Now, how do we experience this between each other? One word…TRUST…we must trust God to care of us as we step out of the boat (come on Peter). We have to be willing to love and be loved by others with humility, honesty and vulnerability. Whew..now this is the challenging part, because when we do that, we also have to be willing to receive the possible hurt that may come during this time. This hurt is only a result of not knowing…because once we communicate the hurt and the stimulus of that feeling, then we can move on to the knowing. It’s just like when we are born…we didn’t know what was right until we were taught…the same is true in relationships, We have to learn each other. Everybody has different needs or some call them love languages…we have to learn how to love one another. Love God first, others second, and yourself last. So, if you are suited up…helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, shield of faith, sword (the word), gird yourself with the belt of truth, shod your feet with the gospel of peace, and pray…then you are ready…ready for this thing called LOVE!
