Hey LifeTrain Passengers. What a conversation we had on the Train this week. All the inputs were VERY much appreciated, digested and respected. As I unhitch this particular car on the train for the time being let me offer up a picture of Salvation.

God promsed Noah that he would save not only him, because the man obeyed. Our generous Father saved Noah’s entire family.

What was it like for the other members of the family to see the water cover the entire earth and know that because Noah had been faithful, they were reaping an undeserved benefit? For the forty days and nights of rain and the days the rain subsided slowly into the ground and seas, could these people have done enough to help their husband, father, and father in-law? Every time he needed a hand with the lions or zebras, someone was probably ready to assist. How else could these undeserving people show how much they appreciated him.

Noah’s story is a picture of salvation. None of us deserve to be saved. None of us can earn it. But all of us can be thankful that God chose to save us. To show that, we can work on our jobs, at home, and in the faith community to share that love. Whatever we do, like Noah’s family, we want to show appreciation.

Our Father in Heaven, thank you for saving us, let every act we do show forth your love…In Jesus name…
