Deacon Dan and I agreed that there is nothing that could be discussed on the Train today that is more important than the true meaning of Good Friday. So, in commemoration of one of the most selfless acts ever known to mankind, the death burial and resurrection of Jesus, the Train stops today for reflection on the meaning of “Good Friday”. So settle in and enjoy the ultimate date night w/Chuckie.

PLEASE, if there was ever a meaning to pass this blog along…today’s LifeTrain stop would be it. If you have trouble starting the video you may call me at 336.451.5911 or email Deacon Dan: deacon_dan@chuckiedaniel.com.
I thank Yahweh Elohim, our God, the God of Abraham, the one who told Moses tell the people, “I am that I am”, for the privilege of being a witness that his son “HAS RISEN and IS ALIVE”.
Let me tell you why I thank God for today, Good Friday. First though, what is Good Friday:
Good Friday is the Friday before Easter or Pascha. It commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus at Calvary. This year, it is on April 6, 2007.
Good Friday is a holy day observed by most Christians. Special prayer services are often held on this day with readings from the Gospel giving accounts of the events leading up to the crucifixion. Mainstream Christian churches view Christ’s crucifixion as a voluntary and vicarious act, and one by which, along with resurrection on the third day, death itself was conquered.
I am thankful that through-out the night last night I was restless. There was tug at my spirit concerning this blog and its purpose. Each Friday I create a date night (virtual). However, today I struggled mightily throughout the night with what I would create and that this is Good Friday. God, and his son’s sacrifice should be front and center today.
When I first started this BLOG (see below, Blog defined) I prayed and talked with God. The answers I continually receive (in my spirit) is that I should strive not glorify myself through this blog. God does not share is Glory. Further, I was being given the privilege to serve people before my death.
So on today, Good Friday, let us not forget to TGIF, Thank God for Good Friday.
I hope you enjoy tonight’s date (the video). That I found today’s Date Night material , I feel, was a miracle and blessing from God. My soul/spirit is now at peace. I hope your time here on the LifeTrain was spirit filled and lead… In Jesus Name…Amen.
Last note. Remember the challenge, Chuckie’s Challenge? Part three of the Challenge was to share the good news of Jesus with at least one person, not necessarily in your personal circle of influence and friends. Well, consider passing along either this blog with an emphasis on tonight’s date or just pass long the link of the video. Just a thought…

Happy Good Friday Life Train Riders!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for the message on this most precious day. I could go on and quote verses from the Word but I will not take away from the message that was given to you to share with us. Thank you for allowing HIM to work in and through you to spread THE WORD.
Thanks chuckie for your sharing the spiritual, personal, and emotional parts of yourself with us so that we can grow. I think that I can speak for all of the life train riders when I say that it takes a spiritually strong man to share and reveal so much of what God has given him for the sole purpose of spreading peace to those who struggle.
Today is a day to reflect on the newness of our lives. We all woke up this morning to a beautiful spring day full of relief from the bitter cold of winter. We have to know that everything is going to be alright, that we are forgiven and worthy of happiness. It’s a day that we can take back the parts of our souls that have been stolen and are weary from disappointment and know that we will have peace from here on out..
Most importantly it’s a day to thank Christ for his sacrifice for us, to take the focus off of ourselves for a minute and to think about helping and giving to our neighbors. Thanks again chuckie for bringing it home for us.
Just one thought, Lets not brethren associate our risen savior with the term “easter” (pagen goddess of the spring fertility “ishtar”..) If you participate in easter egg hunts (worship the egg “fertility” mother mary etc…) the acknowledgement of easter in this holy of holies times. The lord urges you to come out of that whore of babylon. Search it for your self in wikipedia, it is an accurate definition of the term ishtar. It is purely babylonian which god divided for a reason. They built a tower unto the heavens to worship astrology. It’s still done today by most of our fearless leaders and commandants. We will have to attribute this term and it’s infiltration into the mass churches today to the catholic whore of the seven hills spoken of in revelations for she wears purple garments. Don’t get me wrong, I love catholics because they are lost, but their leaders and every other apostate church leaders have sold their souls to Lucifer himself. To define apostate church you will have to due diligence and search as good bereans do. Again please come out of her brethren. Challenge your pastors to this easter term and make them back it up with scripture, because it ain’t biblical and it ain’t in the word of god.
I could go on, but time doesn’t permit today.
God Bless.
The last poster’s history is accurate to a large extent. Easter is a mis-pronunciation of “Ishstar” and it is originally a pagan festival. When the Catholic Church tried to “win over” the pagans they “adapted” some of the pagan’s beliefs and holidays to Christian holidays… the pagans had a celebration in Spring of Fertility and worshiped Ishtar. The Catholics “adapted” this to a celebration of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection and said, “You can still celebrate… just celebrate this.” Admittedly, a misguided approach… but you have to remember that they weren’t preaching true New Testament Christianity that transforms the convert supernaturally… they were trying to “win over” people to their church’s beliefs… a lot of which are simply not scriptural… like worshiping Mary, thinking she is sinless, saying that you can only get forgiveness by going to the priest for absolution, rather than being made a new creature in Christ and having a personal relationship with God through Jesus. Anyway, the main thing is that this guy is eat up with hate. It is hatred of people that believe differently. It is actually similar to racism. Saying, “they are different, so they are evil.” Catholics are doctrinally wrong on some counts… but we don’t hate them, we love them and want them to know the full truth of the Word. As for Easter… we don’t call it “Easter” we call it Resurrection Sunday. As my pastor said last Sunday, “For the record it isn’t ‘Easter’ next Sunday… it is a day to remember that our Lord Jesus rose from the dead… literally… not figuratively… not just ‘spiritually.’” He really arose, and He now lives forever at God’s right Hand interceding for us!
Now is not the time to hate… but it is a time to reaffirm the truth of God’s Word, and help others see that truth and embrace it! You can’t do that through hate… you can only do that through love and expounding the Word to all! He is risen!
