Prayer Request For My Friend – Ms. Geri…The loss of her father
on November 12th, 2008 at 5:06 am
Some of my closest friends I have met on the LiFeTrain. I have also met them in person, that was much after the close friendship had already formed but I don’t think that changed things too much.  Such is the case with the Train Scoundrel, Ms. Geri. We met on the LiFeTrain and now we are the best of friends, actually quite close. If you haven’t seen some of her craziest and sometime wisdom filled comments, they are a must see so check’em out.
Geri Lost her Father this week after a lengthy illness. Please keep her and her family in much prayer as they prepare to say good-bye to the family patriarch.
Since I’ve met her on the LiFeTrain and in person, she has treaded lightly upon my life, seeing, understanding but never imposing. Thoughtful, independent, gracious in both victory and defeat after our many debates. Like the scent of a rose her untroubled spirit has imparted a lasting fragrance upon my life.
Basically, she stinks!
Online friendship are a sign of the times, I’m glad the LiFeTrain Scoudrel is a great friend of mine…
Don’t yall listen to chuckie. I do not stink.
Thank you for your prayers. I love you all.
Hi Geri, I am Chun King’s sister and am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your father has not gone anywhere, he simply put on a different set of clothes – now instead of physical clothes, spiritual clothes. Take care and thanks for being my nutcase brother’s friend.
My thoughts and prayers remain with you and yours…
My sista keep your head up. My prayers and thoughts go out to you and the family. May God wrap his blanket of peace and comfort around you all.
Thanks everyone.
Last night I felt like I could not go on. I knelt down to pray and a warm feeling came over me. It felt like cookies baking, a warm blanket, A Charlie Brown Christmas on tv, the fireplace, and hot cocoa. I knew that my Daddy was close by.
Soror, sister, wise and thoughtful Lifetrain fellow passenger, I’m sorry. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Ms. Geri. My condolences to you and your family. I know the pain you feel as I too had to say goodbye to my father just 3 short years ago. Take comfort in knowing that your dad is in the loving arms of our Lord. Those same loving arms will continue to hold and keep you and your family as you go through this difficult time.
May God bless and strengthen you and your family. You are in my prayers.
Denise
Thank you all for your prayers and support. I heard this song on the radio http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UNy6EGVyO8. I had to pull over and have a good cry.
My Daddy’s home now. I have to make peace with that. Thank you for your prayers. I could not ask for more.
